After lunch, it's time to drive for a 250 km drive (about 4 hours) to Gondal.

After a hearty breakfast, set off on a 260 km journey to Bhuj, making a stop in Rajkot to explore the Watson Museum and Rashtriya Shala, a place dedicated to bringing back traditional textile arts. Once you arrive in Bhuj, check into your hotel and take some time to relax.

Today is all about immersing yourself in the wild at Gir National Park, the last natural home of the Asiatic Lion. Get ready for both morning and evening safari drives. If you have some free time during the day, consider visiting the Somnath Temple or wandering through nearby villages.

Begin your day by obtaining the mandatory permit required to visit the tribal villages and restricted border areas of the Rann of Kutch. As you leave Bhuj, the scenery gradually transforms into a semi-arid desert, dotted with thorny shrubs and occasionally crossed by camel and goat herders.

En route, visit several artisan villages that showcase the rich handicraft heritage of Kutch. Each village specializes in a distinctive traditional craft - such as intricate embroidery, leatherwork, wood carving, Rogan painting, fabric dyeing, and the unique lippan kaam (mud mirror work). You may also get a glimpse of age-old techniques, including traditional charcoal making and local sweet production.

By evening, arrive in Hodka village and check into Shaam-E-Sarhad Village Resort, a sustainable desert retreat offering comfortable deluxe tents and Bhungas - traditional circular mud huts equipped with modern amenities, including attached bathrooms. En route you will be able to visit a village where the last surviving practitioners of an ancient painting style known as Rogan will beguile you with the brilliance of this art form. Once in Mandvi, explore the stunning Mandvi Palace and the nearby Rabari villages before settling into your cosy beachside tented camp. Drive for a 320 km drive to Dasada, where you'll pass through colourful tribal communities and striking desert landscapes. After you arrive, unwind at Rann Riders Eco-Resort - crafted in local style using natural materials that reflect the spirit of Kutch.

In the afternoon, you can either embark on a village tour to meet local artisans or hop on a jeep safari to spot the Indian Wild Ass (Khur) and migratory birds in the Little Rann of Kutch, a fascinating salt desert ecosystem.

As you travel back toward Bhuj, stop at more traditional Kutchi villages, each known for its unique craft heritage. Continue onward to the seaside town of Mandvi, renowned for tie-and-dye textiles and home to India's longest private beach -a tranquil, golden shoreline lapped by the warm waters of the Arabian Sea.

Check into a deluxe tented beach camp, offering a blend of comfort and coastal charm. In the afternoon, visit the historic Vijay Vilas Palace or explore the town's traditional dhow shipbuilding yard, where wooden vessels are still handcrafted without nails.

Start your day with a sunrise village walk alongside a local guide, where you can witness tribal farming and the vibrant community life. After breakfast, make your way 70 km to Poshina, home to the Bhil and Garasia tribes. Explore tribal shrines and local settlements before checking into Darbargadh Poshina, a traditional Rajput heritage home.

Drive back to Ahmedabad (approx. 170 km). On arrival, transfer to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to board your domestic or international flight.
