Detailed Itineary

  • Day 1 : Airport - Pinnawala - Dambulla

    On your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will receive you and assist for your onward journey to Pinnawala. Enjoy your time visiting the Elephant Orphanage, feeding and bathing the elephants with the guidance of the Mahouts. Resume your journey for another two hours to reach Dambulla. Visit the Dambulla Cave temple which is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. The cave complex surprises you with wonderful paintings and around 150 Buddha Statues. Explore the ancient beauty and return to check in at the hotel.

  • Day 2 : Dambulla - Sigiriya - Dambulla

    After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Sigiriya. Visit the Sigiriya Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, existing from the 5th century. Enjoy your time in the Water Gardens, Fountain Gardens, Boulder Gardens and the Caves. Later zoom into the lives of the villagers on a trek to the village Hiriwadunna, where your trek will be through the dense woods. The trip also includes a delicious lunch, a catamaran trip and a ride on a bullock cart. Enjoy the nature’s beauty thoroughly and start your return journey to Dambulla.

  • Day 3 : Sigiriya - Trincomalae - Sigiriya

    Start your journey to Kandy, the historic city of Sri Lanka and the last capital of the Sinhalese Kings. En route, visit the spice garden in Matale, where you can explore the various herbs and spices sprawling across. After reaching Kandy, check in at the hotel and relax. Later, proceed to visit the Buddha temple of Tooth Relic and your day ends with the cultural extravaganza loaded with exotic performances. Return to hotel.

  • Day 4 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Ella

    After taking breakfast at hotel, start your journey from Kandy To Ella. You can opt to go by car or you can travel by train, which will take you through the scenic routes showcasing the nature’s beauty in Sri Lanka. If you are traveling by road, stop at Ramayana temple, Hanuman temple at Ramboda, water-falls at Ramboda including a visit to the tea gardens and tea factory. Spend few hours in Nuwara Eliya where you can enjoy the beauty of Gregory Lake, Victoria Park along with the scenic beauty prevailing around.
    After reaching Ella, check into the hotel and relax. Later, you can stroll around the area through the lush green landscapes.

  • Day 5 : Ella Sightseeing

    Morning after breakfast, start to explore Ella. The Ella jungle resort offers you the activities like, Arial Rope, Slithering Rope, Toddy Tapper walk and water fall tracking. Sightseeing of Ella includes a visit to the elegant Nine Arch Bridge which requires a walk into the dense wood for around thirty minutes. Also visit the Ravana Waterfalls. Return to hotel for dinner.

  • Day 6 : Nuwara Eliya - Ashokwatika - Welimada - Nuwara Eliya

    After breakfast at the hotel start your drive to Yala, where the popular National Park is located. After reaching Yala, check into the hotel and relax. Later in the evening, go for a safari in the Yala National Park. Return to hotel for dinner.

  • Day 7 : Yalla - Galle - Ahungalla

    Post breakfast at hotel, proceed to the coastal town Ahungalla which is in Galle district. En route, visit the city Galle and leisurely stroll around the historic town of Sri Lanka where you find the remnants of the Dutch and Portuguese colonization. The elegant Dutch fort amazes you with its structure and the fort is acclaimed as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Proceed to Ahungalla and check into the hotel.

  • Day 8 : Ahungalla - Bentota - Ahungalla

    After breakfast at hotel, start your day excursion to Bentota, the first National Holiday Resort in Sri Lanka. Explore the various possibilities of the water sporting activities in Bentota beach. It is worth going for a boat ride and a visit to the Turtle Hatchery.
