Day 1

Saturday (Bengaluru to Mysore)

Begin your journey by reporting and registering at Yashwantpur Railway Station from 08:30 hrs onwards. The train will depart at 09:45 hrs, and lunch will be served on board when you arrive at Mysore at 14:15 hrs. Take the opportunity to view the magnificent Mysore Palace at 15:00 hrs, and return to your train, which will then continue its journey to Chengalpattu. Dinner will be served on board.

Sunday (Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram)

Following breakfast onboard, the train reaches Chengalpattu. You will be given the option to take a morning excursion to Kanchipuram. Lunch onboard, then Mahabalipuram, with visits to its listed UNESCO monuments. Dinner at the beachfront hotel before returning to the train at Thanjavur.

Day 3

Monday (Thanjavur - Chettinad/Karaikudi)

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast onboard as the train approaches Thanjavur. After disembarking at 9:00 AM, enjoy a leisurely lunch while the train continues its journey to Chettinad, a region known for its rich cultural heritage and magnificent mansions. Visit the celebrated Athangudi tile factory and explore the Chettinad mansions before returning to the train for dinner. The train continues on its onward journey to Cochin.

Tuesday (Cochin)

Breakfast on board at the arrival at Cochin Harbour Terminus and visit the historic Matancherry Palace in Fort Cochin with a traditional Kerala dance program. Lunch on board while returning to the train. The optional activities could be the Chinese Fishing Nets and St. Francis Church. Dinner on board while the train moves towards Kumarakom.
