Detailed Itineary

  • Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

    You will be met on arrival and assisted with the transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

  • Day 2 : Delhi – Jaipur

    Drive to Jaipur, en route visiting Amber Fort- tour the fort at your leisure and then continue into the city. Overnight in Jaipur.

  • Day 3 : Delhi – Jaipur

    Drive to Jaipur, en route visiting Amber Fort, ascend the ramparts on elephant back and tour the fort, proceed to hotel, Overnight in Jaipur.

  • Day 4 : Jaipur

    Tour the sights of Jaipur including Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds, and later explore the markets and bazaars of old the old city, Overnight in Jaipur.

  • Day 5 : Jaipur – Sawai Madhopur

    Drive to Sawai Madhopur, former hunting preserve of the Maharajas, and Ranthambore National Park which covers over 400 sq km and is a scenic marvel. Take an evening stroll through the abundant natural splendour of the park. Overnight in Sawai Madhopur.

  • Day 6 & 7 : Sawai Madhopur

    Dawn jeep safari in Ranthambore National Park, looking for sloth bear, antelope, leopard, and of course, tiger- Ranthambore has some of the best opportunities for sighting these magnificent cats. Further activities are available and another jeep safari will be undertaken Overnight in Sawai Madhopur.

  • Day 8 : Sawai Madhopur – Bharatpur

    Drive to Bharatpur, a royal hunting retreat near to Keoladeo Ghana National Park, which has the largest concentration and variety of bird life in all of Asia. Take a dusk rickshaw ride or walk around the park accompanied by a local ornithologist, Overnight in Bharatpur.

  • Day 9 : Bharatpur – Agra

    Chance for a further visit to the park at dawn as the vast colonies of birds begin their day. Later leave for Agra via visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route, Overnight in Agra.

  • Day 10 : Agra – Delhi – Bangalore

    Visit the Taj Mahal at dawn – the best time to appreciate this phenomenal monument. Later tour Agra Fort and visit the many artisans who work in various media around Agra, and later drive to Delhi for evening flight to Bangalore, Overnight in Bangalore.

  • Day 11 : Bangalore – Mysore

    Drive to Mysore via Srirangapattana and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary where a wide array of exotic species may be seen, Overnight in Mysore.

  • Day 12 : Mysore Sightseeing

    Full day to explore Mysore including sightseeing and time in the markets and bazaars of this sophisticated city, Overnight in Mysore.

  • Day 13 : Mysore – Nagarhole

    Drive to Kabini on the fringes of Nagarhole National Park and take your first safari into the Park late in the day. Overnight at Kabini/Nagarhole.

  • Day 14 : Nagarhole

    Nagarhole is one of India's finest National Parks with a diverse eco-system, spectacular scenery and many of India's iconic animal species. Of your 4 safaris here, at least one will be by boat, a great way to potentially see herds of elephants coming to the lakeshore to drink, bathe and socialise. Overnight at Kabini/Nagarhole Lodge.

  • Day 15 : Nagarhole – Mudumalai

    A final safari at first light, then drive to Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu, and at a small lodge on the fringes of this famous National Park. Late afternoon walking or jeep tour. Overnight near Mudumalai.

  • Day 16 : Mudumalai

    A full day around the Mudumalai area or at leisure in the sanctuary. Resident naturalists will accompany you on further walks and jeep safaris, Overnight near Mudumalai.

  • Day 17 : Coonoor

    Drive to the historic Hill Station town of Ooty, take the famous Nilgiri mountain railway to Coonoor, Overnight in Coonoor.

  • Day 18 : Coonoor – Coimbatore

    Drive down to Coimbatore, and fly from here to your preferred point for international departure.
