Detailed Itineary

  • Day 1 : Arrive in Mumbai – transfer to hotel and relax

    Welcome to Mumbai, the financial capital of India and the home of Bollywood. Upon arrival in Mumbai, you’ll be met and assisted with the transfer to your hotel. Mumbai is a city of contrasts and you’ll see slums and neighbours of great opulence side by side on the way in from the airport. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

  • Day 2 : Mumbai – Shirdi

    A leisurely day with departure at your leisure and then a 5 hour drive out to Shirdi, one of the most sacred towns in this part of India. Settle in on arrival and relax; overnight stay in Shirdi

  • Day 3 & 4 : Shirdi and excursions

    Two days in this important pilgrimage town, home to Shirdi Sai Baba for over 60 years before his death in 1938. During your time here you can visit the Sai Baba Temple where the guru’s body rests in his Samadhi, Gurusthan, where a young Sai Baba was first spotted under a neem tree and see the perpetual fire, burning in his honour for over 60 years. On Day 4 make and excursion out to Shani Shingnapur, a nearby village where the houses have no doors. Here a near 2 metre tall stone representing Shani Mahadev (Saturn) is said to have emerged from the earth and draws a lot of devotees. as been carved from idol is made in black stone. According to Hindu Mythology, he is a Swayambhu (originated himself in the form of black stone). Two more nights in Sridhi.

  • Day 5 : Shirdi –drive back to Mumbai - evening shopping in Mumbai

    There will be more time here if you wish- the programme for today is simply to drive back to Mumbai at your convenience. Overnight in Mumbai.

  • Day 6 : Mumbai – depart

    Depending on your flight schedule you’ll have the whole day to explore Mumbai with options for sightseeing, market tour, a harbour cruise and more. Transfer to the airport and depart in the evening.
