Detailed Itineary

  • Day 1 : Bangalore - Mysore

    You’ll be met on arrival at Bangalore airport and introduced to your driver. Depart immediately (or after a meal near the airport) and drive around 4 hours to historic Mysore. As the road to Mysore is a divided highway throughout, night driving on this route is okay if you arrive at night. Overnight in Mysore.

  • Day 2 : Mysore Sightseeing

    Day for sightseeing around Mysore including the Sultan’s Palace, flower and vegetable markets, Chamundi Hill temple and time to explore the interesting markets of the city. Overnight in Mysore

  • Day 3 : Mysore - Nagarhole

    Depart in the morning and drive 3 hours or so up to Kabini, on the fringes of Nagarhole National Park. Take your first safari into the Park in the afternoon. Overnight at Kabini.

  • Day 4 : Nagarhole

    We feel that Nagarhole is the best place in South India to see wildlife so 2 nights here, with a total of 4 safaris, is definitely recommended. With both vehicle and boat safaris available, you’ll have a great chance of seeing a wide array of animals including elephants, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, countless bird species, crocodiles, langur monkeys and many more besides. There is a great range of accommodation around Kabini, much of it in tented camps or forest lodges. Overnight at Kabini.

  • Day 5 : Nagarhole - Coorg

    After a final safari at dawn, and breakfast back at your camp, depart and drive into the lushly forested Coorg region, a major coffee growing region. Overnight at Coorg.

  • Day 6 : Coorg

    A full day around Coorg with trekking options, sightseeing or just a superb place to relax in one of the most scenic regions of South India. Overnight at Coorg.

  • Day 7 : Coorg - Hassan

    Drive to Hassan, and from here visit the remarkable temples at Belur and Halebid; overnight in Hassan.

  • Day 8 : Hassan - Bangalore Depart

    The drive back to Bangalore airport will take around 4 hours, so you can depart according to your flight schedule out of Bangalore.
