Angul

Angul, or Anugul, is the industrial town of Odisha, the main gateway to central and western Odisha. The district comprises thousands of villages that give much importance to their rich culture and traditions in the first place. Emerged as a separate district in 1993, April 1, the city centered most industries and steel plants all over the place, making the region the industrial hub of Odisha. Satkosia Gorge Wildlife Sanctuary, located on the border of the Angul district, mainly concentrates in the Tiger Reserve, from where the Mahanadi River proceeds through the mountains of the Eastern Ghats.

Commenced mainly for the tigers, the project somehow gets withdrawn, but other than that, so many species are there to excite you.
