Detailed Itineary

  • Day 1 : Arrival at Paro Airport - Thimphu

    On your Arrival at the Paro International Airport and after completing your Visa / Permit formalities you will be received by our Holiday Tour Manager cum Guide who will be accompanying you the whole trip. He will introduce you to your Captain [Driver] and later transfer to Thimphu (2320Mts / 7656Fts, 65 Kms / 011⁄2 to 02 Hrs), Thimphu is the capital town of Bhutan. Evening you free at Leisure. Stroll through the lively streets of the capital or simply relax at your hotel.

  • Day 2 : Thimphu

    Post breakfasts start your Thimphu sightseeing which covers the Memorial Chorten, the Tashichho Dzong, the Buddha Point, the Royal Takin Preservation Centre(MonDayclosed), Drupthob Goemba / Zilukha Nunnery, Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft School-Closed on SaturDay, Sunday, National Holiday& During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum (Handicrafts Shops - Closed on Saturday, SunDay& National Holidays) and the Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery).

  • Day 3 : Thimphu - Punakha / Wangdi

    Todaypost your breakfast drive to Punakha. Punakha / Wangdi is the border town on the highway from Western Bhutan to Central Bhutan. En- route stop at the Dochu La pass(10102Feet above sea level) which is very scenic with splendid panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas and other mountains of Bhutan. On reaching Punakha, visit the famous Punakha Dzong and if time permits take a look at the longest suspension bridge in whole Bhutan. Later visit the famous temple of fertility or the Chimi Lhakhang.

  • Day 4 : Punakha - Gangtey Excursion - Punakha

    Todayearly morning start a full Dayexcursion to Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley. The Gangtey Valley is probably the most beautiful valley in whole Bhutan. Take a leisurely walk along the valley and visit the Gangtey Black Necked Crane Information Centre and very old yet beautiful Gangtey Monastery. Later drive back to the hotel.

  • Day 5 : Punakha - Paro

    After breakfast transfer to Paro. On your way visit to Royal Botanical Garden. On Arrival at Paro, check in to the hotel. Afternoon you are free at leisure. Enjoy a walk along the beautiful city of Paro at night. There are good shopping options here. Bhutan handicrafts are famous and you could buy souvenirs to take home.

  • Day 6 : Paro - Hike toTaktsang Lhakhang(Tiger's Nest)

    Todaystart early in the morning for a fullday Taktsang Hike or popular as the Tiger’s Nest hike. Tiger Nest is a beautiful monastery perched on a hill 900 feet above Paro valley. This hike is the signature program of Bhutan and it takes 2 to 3 hrs one way to finish. You pass through spectacular pine forests and are exposed to some breath taking views of the Paro Valley. You will have lunch at a cafe mid-way to the trek.

    By evening reach back to hotel and full Dayat leisure. After a tiring trek, you would be tired and If you wish, opt for a Foot Massage or a full body massage [Direct payment to Hotel]. Relax or enjoy a leisure walk along the Paro valley and town.

  • Day 7 : Paro - Departure

    Todayafter breakfast transfer to Paro International Airport. Our captain [driver] and Tour Manager will see you off at the airport for your onward journey.
